THE SERVICE, EXPLAINED
Follow the stock from the display back to the store.
A pest noticed on the sales floor may prompt the enquiry, but the useful evidence could be among stored goods or beside a back-room fitting. Tell us exactly what was seen and whether packaging or other material is affected. For a home rather than a shop, the same question applies to the cupboard or room holding the item.
We investigate the reported location and accessible surroundings before deciding the source. Rodent damage, a crawling insect and a moth near stock are not interchangeable findings. Identification directs the search towards relevant food, fabric or hiding places. We also ask whether the item was moved before the sighting, without assuming that a delivery caused the problem.
Control is tied to those findings. A rodent recommendation may involve equipment and changes to access or food availability. Insect treatment may need attention to a particular source and adjacent harbourages, rather than a broad application across the customer area. Bedroom or upholstery concerns elsewhere are assessed separately. Where access is blocked, we explain what remains unexamined.
Preparation must protect usable stock while making the relevant checks possible. Discuss what can move, which food needs protection and when the affected space can be taken out of use if required. The method determines the precautions. Afterwards, keep later sightings linked to their location and record any stock relocation. If a follow-up is recommended, its purpose might be to review activity at the source or inspect a previously inaccessible area, rather than simply repeat treatment across the shop floor.
